Account, Sync & Billing
Sign in, manage devices, sync data, and upgrade to Pro.
Do I Need an Account?
No. AsPeach's free tier works without any account or login. Just download and start using it. No email, no sign-up required.
You only need an account if you want to:
- Upgrade to Pro (unlimited transcriptions, larger models, transforms).
- Sync dictionary, snippets, and history across devices.
- Manage your subscription.
How to Sign In
Open the Account tab in AsPeach and choose one of these sign-in methods:
- Google — Sign in with your Google account. A browser window opens for you to authorize.
- GitHub — Sign in with your GitHub account.
- Twitter / X — Sign in with your X account.
- Email & Password — Create a traditional account with your email address.
After signing in, the Account tab shows your name, email, avatar, and current tier (Free or Pro).
Device Management
AsPeach Pro uses a one-device-at-a-time model (similar to Spotify). Your Pro subscription is personal — only one computer can be actively using it at any given time.
How It Works
- When you sign in on Computer A, it becomes your active device.
- If you then sign in on Computer B, Computer A is automatically signed out.
- Computer A will show a notification that the session was ended on another device.
Viewing Your Devices
In the Account tab, you can see a list of all devices that have been signed in to your account:
- Device name — automatically detected (e.g., "MacBook Pro (darwin)").
- Status — Active or Inactive, with sign-out dates for inactive devices.
- Current Device — An indicator showing which device you're currently on.
- Sign Out button — Manually kick another device off your account.
Heartbeat
AsPeach sends a small check-in ("heartbeat") to the server every 5 minutes. This is how it detects if your session was ended by another device. If the server responds that your session is no longer active, AsPeach shows a notification and signs you out locally.
Cloud Sync (Pro Only)
Pro subscribers can sync their data across devices. When you sign in to AsPeach Pro on a new computer, your data follows you.
What Syncs
- Dictionary entries — Your custom word corrections.
- Snippets — Your trigger/expansion pairs.
- Transcription history — Your past transcriptions.
- Settings & preferences — Your configuration.
What Does NOT Sync
- Audio recordings — Your audio NEVER leaves your device. Not during transcription, not during sync, not ever.
- Whisper models — These are downloaded separately on each device.
- LLM/Ollama models — Same — each device downloads its own.
Manual Sync
Data syncs automatically when changes are made, but you can force an immediate sync from the Account tab if needed.

When You Hit a Free Tier Limit
A notification appears telling you that you've reached your daily limit. It includes a countdown showing when the limit resets, and a link to upgrade to Pro.
How to Upgrade to Pro
- Click the Upgrade button in the Account tab, or click the upgrade link in any limit notification.
- A browser window opens with the AsPeach checkout page (powered by Lemon Squeezy).
- Choose your plan:
- Pro — $9.99/month — Unlimited transcriptions, all languages, AI features, cloud sync.
- Pro+ — $24.99/month — Everything in Pro, plus JARVIS voice assistant, Peach AI chat, screen awareness, and vision.
- Complete the payment.
- Your AsPeach account is upgraded immediately — no need to restart the app. The tier badge in the Account tab updates to "Pro" or "Pro+."
Signing Out
Click Sign Out in the Account tab. Your local authentication tokens are cleared. If you're on the free tier, nothing changes — you can keep using AsPeach without an account. If you're on Pro, you'll lose access to Pro features until you sign back in.
Data Export & Deletion
- Export all data — Download everything (settings, history, dictionary, snippets) as JSON, CSV, or TXT files.
- Delete account — Permanently removes your account and all data from our servers. This cannot be undone.
- Clear local cache — Frees up disk space by removing cached model files from your computer.
