AsPeach User Guide

Everything you need to know to get the most out of AsPeach.

AsPeach is a voice-to-text app that runs on your Mac or Windows PC. You press a keyboard shortcut, speak into your microphone, and your words appear as text — wherever your cursor is. All speech recognition happens 100% locally on your device using Whisper AI. No audio is ever sent to the internet.

Quick Start

If you just want to get going as fast as possible:

1. Download and install AsPeach from the homepage.
2. Grant permissions when prompted — Microphone and Accessibility (macOS).
3. Place your cursor where you want text to appear (email, document, chat, anywhere).
4. Press the keyboard shortcut — Alt + Shift + Space (Windows) or ⌥ + ⇧ + Space (Mac).
5. Speak naturally.
6. Press the shortcut again to stop.
7. Your text appears automatically where your cursor was.
